RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This Return and Refund Policy applies to products purchased from the Shwetshilp website.
At ShwetShilp, every piece is carefully handcrafted, inspected and securely packed before it leaves our studio. As our products are made from natural marble and are handcrafted, each piece may have subtle variations in colour, veining, texture and finish. These natural variations are not considered defects.
1. Returns
We currently do not accept returns for change of mind, personal preference, incorrect size selection, or simply because the product is no longer required.
However, we are committed to making things right if your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect or significantly different from what was ordered.
2. Damaged Products
If your product is damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:
- A clear video of the package being opened, starting from the unopened outer packaging.
- Clear photographs/videos of the damaged product.
- Photographs of the outer packaging and shipping label.
- Your order number.
Please retain the original packaging until your claim has been reviewed.
Once the damage is verified, ShwetShilp will arrange an appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or refund.
3. Wrong or Defective Products
If you receive:
- A product different from what you ordered;
- A product with a manufacturing defect; or
- A product that is significantly different from its advertised specifications;
please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and supporting photographs/videos.
After verification, we will arrange a replacement or refund, as applicable.
4. Natural Marble Variations
Marble is a natural stone. Variations in colour, veining, texture, pattern and minor natural characteristics are inherent to the material and make every ShwetShilp piece unique.
Such natural variations are not considered defects and are not eligible for return or refund.
5. Customized & Made-to-Order Products
Customized, personalized and made-to-order products cannot be returned or cancelled once production has commenced, except where the product is received damaged, defective or incorrect.
6. Products Damaged After Delivery
ShwetShilp is not responsible for damage caused after delivery due to improper handling, installation, cleaning, storage, accidents, misuse or normal wear and tear.
Such damage is not eligible for return or refund.
7. Refunds
If a refund is approved, it will be processed after the returned/damaged product and/or supporting evidence has been reviewed and the claim has been approved.
Refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method used for the order.
The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
8. Return Shipping
If a return is approved because the product was damaged in transit, defective, or incorrectly supplied, ShwetShilp will arrange or bear the applicable return shipping costs.
For any return approved under exceptional circumstances, return-shipping responsibility will be communicated to the customer before the return is initiated.
9. International Orders
For international orders, return eligibility and shipping arrangements will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Any applicable customs duties, import taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.
International returns may be subject to additional shipping, customs and handling requirements.
10. How to Raise a Return or Damage Claim
Please contact ShwetShilp through our official customer support channel with:
- Order number
- Customer name
- Contact details
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs/videos of the product
- Unboxing video, where applicable
Our team will review the claim and communicate the next steps.
11. Important Note
Because every ShwetShilp piece is carefully handcrafted and made from natural marble, minor variations and natural characteristics are part of the beauty of the material.
We encourage customers to carefully review the product details, dimensions, photographs and care instructions before placing an order.
